American Airlines spreads wings between Dallas-Fort Worth and Columbus

American Airlines is planning to launch a flight between Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) and the Golden Triangle Regional Airport in Columbus, Mississippi.

The airline’s return to the route comes after a 29-year absence.

Columbus will be American Airlines’ first destination in the state of Mississippi, which is currently served by a single carrier, Delta Airlines.

AA’s flights will be the only direct service between the two destinations.

The route will likely be operated by a Boeing 737-800, with round-trip fares starting at $99 USD.

American Airlines is changing its flight schedule to and from New York LaGuardia

Starting with the New York LGA to Philadelphia route, it will leave AA’s schedule in June due to a sharp drop in demand, as it currently operates six times a day.

About New York LGA – Calgary, this new connection will enter service in June and will operate once a week, on Saturdays.

As for New York LGA – Kalispell, this flight will be served with a weekly rhythm (one frequency per week) starting next summer season.
