In 2021, forty million passengers passed through Harry Reid Airport in Las Vegas
More than forty million people passed through Las Vegas’s new airport during the last year. According to figures released on Wednesday, Reid Airport handled 40 millions passenger journeys last year, that is more than 17 million passengers compared to the passengers transported during 2020.
“The demand for Las Vegas continues to remain strong,” says Rosemary Vassiliades, director of aviation at Clark County. “We’re so thankful for everyone who makes our city their destination.” From stadium shows to big-money sports tournaments, 2021 has been a dress rehearsal for what Las Vegas residents can look forward to next summer when they host major events. “Southern Nevada has changed quite a bit since we first opened up shop here back in 1981, but one thing hasn’t changed at McCarran International Airport—our commitment to providing excellent customer service.”
According to the airport, robust international travel has been one of the biggest factors contributing to the airport’s recent success.
