Turkish Airlines: A long-haul flight between Istanbul and Seattle
Turkish Airlines will begin operating flights between Istanbul and Seattle from next month. The city located in the state of Washington will be the twelfth to be served by the Turkish national company in the United States.
Turkey’s air carrier announced in a statement that reservations for this flight are open and available on its website. The inaugural flight will take place on May 27, 2022. Turkish Airlines will operate four weekly frequencies to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport in B787-9 which can accommodate 300 passengers in two classes (30 + 270).
Turkish Airlines announced that outbound flights will take place at 2:05 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. while return flights will leave Istanbul the following day at 5:45 p.m. and 4:25 p.m.
On this line, which was operational until the end of 2019 (suspended due to covid), the Turkish company transported more than fifteen thousand passengers.
