Delta One: A new cabin with optimal comfort seats

American airlines have not often had the opportunity to shine by the quality of service they offer on board their planes, including in the classes of travel that would claim to be the most luxurious.

Delta was of course part of this up-to-date movement by introducing its new concept of Delta One. Its Business product has been revised, like the First or Business cabin aboard the Boeing 757s, which include the B / E Aerospace Parallel Diamonds.

The new cabin debuted with the company’s first A350. DAL is the first in the United States to receive such an aircraft model, which will primarily serve routes between that country and Asia.

The new cabin features reclining sleeper seats with direct access to the corridors. Delta is always attentive to customer requests and responds with products that meet their needs. Delta One: An individual suite in Business class

Delta Air Lines has unveiled what it presents as first business class entirely organized in private suites with sliding doors.

The Delta One suites are offered on the company’s new A350s, which should enter service next fall, and will number 32 per aircraft. Delta is the first American company to offer A350 flights that will link the United States and Asia.

In addition to sleeper seats, the suites offer a customizable lighting system, storage compartments for shoes, helmets and other computers. Not to mention an 18-inch high-resolution screen, a USB port and a universal power outlet.

After the A350, the Delta One suites are offered on the company’s Boeing 777 fleet.

Delta One: selection of meals around the world

As temperatures cool, airline Delta Air Lines is beefing up its menus with a selection of fresh, seasonal produce, and expanding its meal selection program to allow Delta One Business Class customers to choose in advance regionally inspired meals, designed by local chefs.

Following the success of its initial deployment in certain markets, the American company has extended its meal selection program to all Delta One flights to and from airports in the United States. All Delta One customers traveling between Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the United States can choose their menu in advance. Business travelers will receive an email from Delta three days before their flight, inviting them to select the meal of their choice. Participation in the program only requires a valid email address, listed in the customer’s SkyMiles account or in the booking document.

Delta One customers will be able to enjoy delicious dishes, with on the menu, braised prime rib, roast chicken breast or soy-glazed cod. On select flights to Europe, menus will feature creations developed by Delta’s team of culinary experts or an airline partner chef, including Atlanta’s Linton Hopkins, winner of the James Beard Award, chefs at Danny Meyer’s Union Square Events restaurants in New York and culinary duo Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo from Los Angeles.

This move is part of the SkyTeam alliance company’s ongoing efforts to enhance and redefine the on-board dining experience, with fresh, regional and seasonal produce and a variety of beverage options.

Delta also offers new options for international customers who take a domestic flight: the company has updated the Flight Fuel menu available in Main Cabin on certain flights over 1500km (900 miles) in North America (the Fresh Flight Fuel options). are for sale on flights over 1400 miles in North America.
