American Airlines: First ‘GBAC Star’ accredited company

American Airlines announces that it is the first airline to achieve ‘Star’ accreditation from the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) for its entire fleet of aircraft and Admirals Club lounges.

‘Star’ is a performance-based program based on a set of effective cleaning work practices, which is’ the gold standard in ensuring that our facilities and aircraft have the most effective cleaning, disinfection and infection prevention protocols. ‘said Alison Taylor, director of customer service at American Airlines.
