To join the Aadvantage loyalty program, you must create an account by visiting the airline’s website. You will be asked to complete an application form. Once submitted, the application can be reviewed and if accepted, one will be automatically registered on the airline’s website. A member’s username and password are given to them when they become a member. It is therefore necessary to create a username and password that will allow him to connect to the benefits site.

Members of the Aadvantage loyalty program will be able to purchase tickets for all flights of participating US airlines for a specific period of time. Members will receive an email from American Airlines with information on scheduled flights. It is important to note that e-mail will not be sent regarding changes to flight schedules or planned specials. An account holder will have the option of booking online using the Aadvantage loyalty card or calling their credit card company’s customer service to arrange travel.

A member’s profile is evaluated periodically. Once the request is approved, the profile will be evaluated based on its current status. Factors such as credit history, purchases made with this program, membership status and account opening frequency will be taken into account during the review process. A successful review will result in an increase of up to 50,000 US airline miles and Aadvantage credit card fees. Additional benefits may also be granted if the member has fulfilled their eligibility conditions.
