American Airlines flies to Ocho Rios, Jamaica (from Miami)

American Airlines will offer a new connection next fall between Miami and Ocho Rios, its third destination in Jamaica.

From November 5, 2022, the American flag carrier will offer two flights per week departing from its base at Miami International Airport and, operated by Embraer 175. Departures are scheduled for Wednesday and Saturday.

American Airlines will be without competition on this route, its third in the island of Jamaica.

Ocho Rios means “the eight rivers” and was previously called “Las Chorreras” which translates to “The Waterfalls”. These designations are justified because nature is lush here and the turquoise-colored waterways are the jewels of the region. It is this exceptional ecosystem that attracts travelers here.

And in Ochie, there are many tourists, so it is a city full of attractions, hotels, bars, restaurants and shops. Vacationers punctuate their days with expeditions to sublime waterfalls, botanical gardens and numerous natural amusement parks.
