American Airlines switches to daily Miami-Cozumel flight
Summer is fast approaching, and American Airlines wants to continue on its progression from the skies of Cozumel. The Mexican island which is served from Miami twice a week will benefit from additional frequencies from next month.
Starting May 5, 2022, American Airlines will operate a daily flight to Cozumel Airport in Mexico. Additional flights will be served by a 175-seat 737-800. To meet the expected high demand from its passengers on this airline, American Airlines can also use its 76-seat Embraer 175.
The number of seats that the American company plans to offer each week is estimated at one thousand two hundred and four seats.
Departing from Miami International Airport, the plane will take off at 12:24 p.m. and will land at the Mexican airport after one hour and six minutes of flights. The return flight will take off the same day at 2:32 p.m.
