American Airlines reopens flights between Phoenix and London Heathrow

American Airlines confirms its return to London Heathrow after suspending all flights to the UK airport twenty five months ago due to the spread of the pandemic.

From now on, regular flights will be served by the American carrier to the capital of England from Phoenix.

The flight has been operational since last Tuesday. Passengers can book their plane tickets by going to the airline’s website aa.com.

According to Kate Gallego, the mayor of Phoenix, the reopening of this airline allowed American Airlines to reopen two thousand jobs that were suspended during the pandemic. Annual revenues on this line are estimated at one hundred and forty million dollars, added the mayor.

American Airlines will serve London Heathrow daily from Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix, operating direct flights.
